The 5th West Bengal Table Tennis Championship of the Deaf showcased extraordinary talent and reminded us that passion has no limits. It was a celebration of strength, perseverance, and the love for the game. Held on 2nd August,2026 , the event was organized by West Bengal Sports Association of the Deaf in collaboration with Khel Foundation , Kolkata and YMCA Chowranghee Branch.

Khel Foundation organized the distribution of Skechers shoes to deserving young sportspersons on Sunday, 14th June 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Central Excise Tent, Maidan, Kolkata. Skechers, one of the world's leading multinational sports footwear brands and the third-largest footwear company globally, has recognised Khel Foundation as a CSR beneficiary and allotted 100 pairs of shoes for distribution among deserving young athletes. The shoes were formally handed over to Khel Foundation at a special ceremony at South City Mall, Kolkata, by renowned film star Kartik Aaryan. We were honoured to have Mr. Ronodip Moitra, former Indian cricketer, team trainer, fitness and strength trainer, and Founder of Endorphin Training Centre, as the Chief Guest for the event. This initiative reflects Khel Foundation's continued commitment to supporting talented and economically underprivileged sportspersons by providing quality sporting equipment, encouragement, and opportunities to pursue excellence in their respective disciplines. Following the shoe distribution programme, Khel Foundation also awarded scholarships to a promising shooter and gymnast as part of its ongoing efforts to nurture and support emerging sporting talent.

Khel Foundation successfully organized a Table Tennis Tournament for the Deaf in association with the West Bengal Sports Association of the Deaf, on 28th December 2025, aiming to promote inclusivity and encourage sporting talent among specially-abled athletes. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased exceptional skill, focus, and determination. Every match reflected the power of sports to unite, empower, and inspire beyond communication barriers. Khel Foundation remains committed to creating equal opportunities through sports and continues to support initiatives that celebrate ability, resilience, and confidence. Heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners!

Another feather in the cap of Khel Foundation was added on 30th November with the successful organisation and conclusion of the health and wellness camp in association with people's relief committee and Kolkata Swaasthya Sankalp. A total of 142 malis from 74 different clubs availed the free medical check up facilities out of which 107 are being given free spectacles, 50 orthopaedic belts and three identified with chronic ailments are bring extended medical help. It's a great humanitarian gesture in reaching out to the economically weaker section of the society and we wish God helps us to reach out to many more such deserving people in need in future. We thank all are members and participants without whose support this would not have been possible.

A proud moment for Khel Foundation on being chosen amongst many organisations to receive hundred shoes for distribution amongst deserving sports person under 15 .The vouchers were given by Kartik Aaryan, Hindi Cinema Celebrity and Bollywood sensation at South City Mall at an event conducted by Skechers .
